Ţowering, distinctive Houston-bred rapper G2Genesis launched his career barely out of junior high school. Following a series of mixtapes, videos and singles his popularity is now exploding as he rises to become one the main contenders in the rap industry. He released his breakout single “Zoouston” and was courted by several labels and eventually signed a single deal with 10K Projects and ’94 Sounds.

Ǥ2 Genesis was born Genesis McCollum in Houston in 1999. He lived between New York, Atlanta, and Houston throughout his life, and that unique blend of culture is reflected in his music. G2Genesis was raised in a household that deeply influenced his passion for rap music. He says music is how he deals with pain and how he expresses his successes. While he doesn’t have a musical idol, he says his own life is his biggest motivation.
